My Birthday!

So the past two weeks have been a little quieter than usual here on my blog, this is due to my birthday & sorting out my room. Blog sale soon!

The week before last was when my birthday celebrations began! The Thursday was spent in town with Jade and Sarah. We shopped and enjoyed the sun shine. I was on the hunt for a backless stick on bra which could disconnect at the front as the playsuit I planned to wear from Missguided had a mesh panel down the front and I didn't want it showing. I went EVERYWHERE! Last place I looked was Primark and they had the exact one I had in mind for only £5!

That night we all went out in Norwich with Jacqueline as well, we danced the night away and got to escape the packed dance for in VIP.

On the day I ventured to Cambridge with Jack where we went punting long the beautiful river <3 This bridge was in Harry Potter!

Sunday evening we had a meal with my family where I wore my Missguided dress with a Topshop Blazer, my Baia pouch and some heels.

We ate so much food at a local Chinese restaurant, then back at home my parents surprised me with a cake and they all sang happy birthday <3

I took these pictures whilst on my lunch break at work. It was quite amusing being seen by someone not of the blogosphere, as they just found this activity rather strange.

This new Evil Twin shirt came into work this week and I felt the urge to put it on and explore the building to take outfit pictures ^_^ As I'm a tad short I preferred the sleeves rolled up and the shirt tied at the waist.

Say hello to my new NEW LOOK (well done New Look!) Buckle boots, which sold out like hot cakes! These bad boys were only £29.99, and are super comfy! They did come up a bit big, but nothing an in sole couldn't fix!

 Iamvibes is a clothing brand I have been wearing since back in March. I liked that they were different to a lot of the usual street wear brands around at that time which featured inverted crosses and all that jazz. Something I'm just not into personally!

 I was drawn to the peaceful/protective/spiritual symbol of the hamsa hand which features throughout the clothing line. There's something so pretty about the symbol and this year I have been a bit "spiritual" with all the pretty crystal jewellery I have been collecting! 

Their items are simple, but not too plain. Easy to style and good quality. I'm always drawn to tee which I can tuck into high waisted items and still show off the main design. I have my eye on the cropped vest next!

Missguided A/W13 Event & Lookbook Preview

Mainly just pictures of myself, Amy Valentine, Sarah, Robyn & Kavita ^_^ but see more of the event in the video above, with behind the scenes of Amy & Kavita posing for outfit pictures :)

The venue for the A/W preview was amazing, the gorgeous stain glass window complimented a lot of Missguided's new opulent pieces. Gorgeous statement sparkling gowns with hints of romance. The rails were divided into different sections, punk, sports luxe, glitter etc. I fell in love with the velvet kimono!

I felt very tropical with the real flower garland in my hair courtesy of the The Flower Appreciation Society.

Missguided have set the bar high with their previous lookbook, and they have not disappointed with these gorgeous images! The models are beautiful, confident and dressed to perfection.

This is a small taste of A/W 2013, shot in a multi-million pound 5 storey town house in Mayfair. The lookbook features deep crushed velvets, lavish leather, layering, faux fur and more <3

I love this denim jacket, the detail of rose gold buttons and darker wash of denim on the turn ups. I was impressed with my first ever Forever 21 item! An early birthday present from Jack :D I felt I needed one which was a better fit over my two current denim jackets. I've been in need of a throw on which isn't too hot, something which isn't a cardigan, and I'm far too fussy to find another kimono I like, so this fitted the bill perfectly!

As you can see I'm getting a nice collection going of rose gold jewellery! It matches so nicely with the detailing on both the jacket and the riding pant buttons :D

This outfit makes me look super tall! Thanks to 3/4 length sleeves, high waisted pants and of course those crazy high Jeffrey Campbell's which are so beautiful! I'm not going to lie, I do not wear them out and about, they are so high and not that stable. I did fall over whilst taking these pictures ^_^

Anyone else own shoes they do not wear out, but keep because they are so pretty?
